In 2020 we started tracking our pigeons using Jixiangle skyleader rings, it has been really interesting and informative for us. Depending on what direction you see your pigeons coming from on race day its easy to draw a conclusion that ‘they are coming off the north’ or ‘they’ve been 10 hours on the wing today’ but in reality you are only seeing the final part of their race.

We tracked all our training flights of 2021! heres our data:

Only from Wadebridge did one of our tracked pigeons fly along the coast, this race had 4,400 pigeons, 2,000 from Kent and 2,400 from the south coast. It was great to be part of the last minute combine between Kent,Surrey and Sussex. It led to a much more smoother race from the west.
